This piece showcases the relationships of queer people, and how in our society, they're demonized and shamed for their orientation. As a queer person myself, I've encountered comments similar to these for my orientation and gender. Both of these are out of my, and anyone else's control, as living this way isn't a choice. Unfortunately, there's no societal privilege gained from being a part of the lgbtqia+ community. In some cases, we're viewed as less than human. An "Abomination to creation". Even so, I wanted to portray in this piece that "Love Is Love", and the red string of fate has no gender attached to who it chooses.
